About Me

A passion for technology, culture, and the arts led me to pursue a career in architecture and design technology. I hold a Master of Architecture from Iowa State University and have worked across the AEC industry for over a decade, contributing to residential, commercial, healthcare, and computational design projects.

My recent focus centers on building practical software and mobile applications that bridge physical job sites with building information modeling (BIM). Highlights of my ongoing work include:

• Tracer: A field-first mobile LiDAR and Bluetooth laser-assisted floor plan authoring app for iOS, complete with an Autodesk Revit add-in for automated native BIM model reconstruction.
• Arcadio: An offline-first mobile field observation and site audit tool featuring on-device AI and Autodesk Construction Cloud integration.
• Residential Design: Custom residential projects like the Billmyer Residence and Billmyer Residence II (a universally accessible single-family home designed to VA SHA standards).
• Design Automation & Cloud Integrations: Developing cloud and desktop workflows using Autodesk Platform Services (APS), Revit API, and computational design tools.
