Arcadio — Account & Data Deletion

Published:

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Arcadio account and associated data. Arcadio is developed by Freund R&D.

Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete your account and all local data is directly inside Arcadio:

  1. Open Arcadio on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Tap your name or profile at the top of the Settings screen.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Type DELETE in the confirmation field and confirm.

What this deletes immediately:

  • All observations, projects, templates, media, drawings, audio recordings, and form data stored locally on the device
  • Your Firebase Authentication account and sign-in credentials
  • Local app preferences, notification history, and session tokens

What is not deleted automatically:

  • Google Drive backups — encrypted backups in your Google Drive account remain under your control. Delete them directly from Google Drive or through the Drive backup settings inside Arcadio before deleting your account.
  • Exported files — PDFs, CSVs, or images you shared to other apps, email, or cloud storage remain wherever you sent them.
  • Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data — aggregated diagnostic data retained by Firebase under Google’s standard retention periods (see below).

Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, or if you want to request deletion of account-associated Firebase or support records, email us from the Google account you used with Arcadio:

Email: design@josephfreund.com
Subject: Arcadio deletion request

Include the Google account email address associated with your Arcadio account. We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or an unresolved support issue.
