Before moving to New York, I started my own freelance design business in West Des Moines, Iowa. I provided design and rendering services for architects and developers, and conducted research in generative design and computational design. I was still learning to use the digital tools that I had been introduced to in school, and I was eager to apply them to real-world projects.
