Freund R&D operates out of New York City, offering design services, custom software development for design technology, and training in design software. My projects span architectural design, mobile and web applications, and BIM automation, with a focus on exploring the intersection of design, technology, and accessibility. I am committed to collaborating with designers, developers, and researchers on innovative solutions and new ideas.
Recent and ongoing work includes:
- Tracer: A field-first mobile LiDAR and Bluetooth laser-assisted floor plan authoring app for iOS, paired with a custom Autodesk Revit add-in for automated native BIM reconstruction.
- Arcadio: An offline-first mobile field data collection and site audit app featuring on-device AI and Autodesk Construction Cloud integration.
- Billmyer Residence II: A custom 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom universally accessible ranch home in Dubuque, IA, designed to VA SHA standards with seamless interior ramp circulation connecting to the basement.
- AEC Cloud Tools & Custom Residential Design: Continued development of Autodesk Platform Services (APS) integrations and tailored single-family residential projects.
